Brooklyn Beckham is said to be 'absolutely furious' with his parents after being mentioned in their Father's Day social media posts, according to sources close to the photographer. The 27-year-old has reportedly cut all ties with his family, and the latest incident has reignited tensions.
Father's Day Posts Spark Outrage
On Sunday, June 21, David and Victoria Beckham shared several photos on Instagram celebrating Father's Day. David, 51, wrote: 'Being a dad is my most important job. I love you all & thank you mummy Victoria Beckham for giving me our beautiful family.' Victoria, 52, added: 'David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.' Both posts tagged Brooklyn, despite his request not to be included.
Brooklyn, who disowned his family in a January Instagram post, has blocked his parents on social media. However, he reportedly saw the tags through close sources and media reports. A source told The Sun: 'He’s fuming about it. He’s asked them to leave him alone and they just keep posting him. It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they’d leave it and leave him alone.'
Family Feud Continues
The feud between Brooklyn and the Beckham family has been public for over six months. Since cutting ties in January, Brooklyn has not acknowledged his parents or siblings publicly. He did not post any Father's Day tribute or respond to his parents' posts. The Daily Star has reached out to Brooklyn's representatives for comment.
Despite the family's attempts to reach out earlier this month, Brooklyn remains adamant about being left alone. The photographer, who is married to Nicola Peltz, has focused on his career and personal life away from the Beckham spotlight.
