Brooklyn Beckham has sparked a fresh celebrity rift by refusing to attend the wedding of his childhood friend, Holly Ramsay, a decision that has reportedly upset her famous father, chef Gordon Ramsay.
Wedding Snub Deepens Family Rifts
The 26-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham has turned down a personal invitation to Holly's nuptials with Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, set for December 27 at Bath Abbey. A star-studded reception will follow at the luxurious Kin House in Wiltshire.
Sources close to the situation indicate Brooklyn's refusal is directly linked to the expected presence of his own family, with whom he is currently embroiled in a very public feud. He recently blocked his entire family, including his 14-year-old sister Harper, on Instagram, a move that escalated existing tensions.
A Friendship Decades in the Making Now Strained
Gordon and Tana Ramsay have been close friends with the Beckhams for years, with their children growing up together. Brooklyn, born just months before Holly, spent significant time with the bride-to-be during their youth.
"David and Victoria see Gordon and Tana almost as family," a source told MailOnline. "The kids all grew up together. Brooklyn always loved his time with them all... Gordon and Tana have been upset at the fall-out too. They are very, very fond of Brooklyn. They’ve known him since he was tiny."
The source added it was a "great shame" Brooklyn would miss the ceremony, noting his absence represents another missed opportunity for reconciliation with his own parents.
LA Retreat Amid Intensifying Feud
Instead of travelling to the UK for the wedding, Brooklyn will remain in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Nicola Peltz, and her billionaire family. He is expected to spend the festive period at their Palm Beach mansion, thereby avoiding an awkward encounter with David and Victoria Beckham.
The Beckham-Peltz feud is believed to have originated around the time of Brooklyn and Nicola's own lavish 2022 wedding. Reports have suggested financial disagreements and tensions over wedding planning created a lasting divide.
An associate close to the couple stated they have asked the Beckhams to "back off," commenting: "It would be really in the holiday spirit if the Beckhams could just back off and leave them alone for now... They just want peace."
Brooklyn's brother Cruz publicly confirmed the social media block, revealing Brooklyn had deliberately cut ties. The final straw reportedly came after Victoria Beckham liked a social media post about Brooklyn roasting a chicken, which allegedly annoyed him enough to block the whole family.
With the Ramsay wedding now added to the list of casualties, this very public family dispute shows no signs of a festive truce.
