Charlotte Crosby has announced she is stepping away from her self-titled reality series, Geordie Stories, to focus on new opportunities with ITV. The 35-year-old former Geordie Shore star revealed the decision after disclosing that she was barred from appearing on the BBC's Celebrity Traitors due to a rule excluding reality TV personalities.
Crosby's most recent show, Geordie Stories: Charlotte Mam of Two, premiered in November 2025 on Paramount+ and followed her life with daughters Alba Jean and Pixi Cecilia. However, after just four episodes, the series has been shelved. Crosby confirmed, 'I won't be continuing doing that one, not that exact show,' adding that while a wedding-focused programme may return in the future, the current show is 'parked up.'
The reality star expressed a desire to broaden her television career, stating, 'I think I really want to focus on doing some big shows this year and doing stuff on other channels. I'd love to be on ITV a bit more and really dip my foot into some other opportunities.' She cited the demanding filming schedule of her previous show, which occupied seven to eight months of her year, as a reason for making room for new projects.
Crosby first rose to fame on MTV's Geordie Shore in 2011 and has since appeared on numerous programmes, including Celebrity Big Brother, Ex on the Beach, and Celebrity Masterchef. She quit Geordie Shore in 2024 after a falling out with co-star Marnie Simpson, insisting she would never return.
In a recent interview, Crosby revealed that a 'no reality stars' rule prevented her from participating in the BBC's Celebrity Traitors, which aired its first series in 2025 and was won by comedian Alan Carr. She claimed her agent confirmed the policy, adding, 'A lot of shows have this rule.'
