MasterChef's Khanh Ong Appears in Taylor Swift Doc After £3k Ticket Scam
Chef Khanh Ong's surprise cameo in Taylor Swift documentary

Celebrity chef and MasterChef Australia star Khanh Ong has shared his emotional reaction to making an unexpected cameo appearance in Taylor Swift's newly released documentary series.

From Ticket Scam to Screen Time

The 31-year-old television personality posted a video on TikTok revealing he was featured in crowd footage from one of Swift's Australian concerts in the docuseries, 'The End of an Era'. In the clip, an emotional Ong explained that this moment helped make up for a costly experience trying to attend the concert itself.

"I got scammed at that concert - I paid $4,000 for tickets and they weren't real... so I had to buy new ones," Khanh confessed. He then expressed his disbelief at being included in the final cut, becoming teary-eyed as he said, "And now I'm in the documentary... I just don't know how to feel about this!"

Disney+ Drops Final Episodes Early

Swift's fans, known as Swifties, received an early holiday gift when Disney+ announced the final two episodes of the six-part series would premiere on December 23, three days ahead of the original December 26 release date. The streamer made the surprise announcement on X, formerly Twitter, calling it "an early gift to fans around the world."

The newly available episodes promise never-before-seen insights, including highlights of Swift's relationship with American football star Travis Kelce. Swift's mother, Andrea, is featured saying, "Travis Kelce brings a lot of happiness to a lot of fans." The documentary also showcases Swift's elaborate quick-change routines and a performance with support act Sabrina Carpenter.

Inside the Record-Breaking Eras Tour

'The End of an Era' provides an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the monumental Eras Tour, which ran from March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, to December 8, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada. The tour's overwhelming demand famously crashed the Ticketmaster system in late 2022 and propelled Swift into billionaire status primarily through music earnings.

The series spotlights the immense effort behind the global phenomenon, featuring friends and fellow performers including Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch. The tour itself was a cultural landmark, featuring a three-hour, 40-song setlist spanning ten eras of Swift's career and attracting A-list celebrities, royalty, and millions of fans worldwide.

For Khanh Ong, his brief, unplanned moment in the spotlight serves as a poignant and redemptive footnote to his own Eras Tour experience, transforming a story of financial loss into one of unexpected celebrity inclusion.
