Chris Hemsworth's 4,500-Calorie Thor Diet: 10 Meals a Day for Superhero Physique

Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor known for playing Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, follows an extraordinary diet to maintain his superhero physique. His personal chef, Dan Churchill, revealed that Hemsworth consumes 4,500 calories per day, split into ten separate meals when bulking up for action roles.

Churchill, who has worked with Hemsworth for three years on his fitness app Centr, described the actor's dedication as requiring immense discipline. 'He often has to sacrifice taste and flavor to get the job done,' Churchill told Daily Mail. Despite the demanding regimen, Hemsworth enjoys meals such as steak, rice-based dishes, broccoli, chicken, and banana protein shakes.

The actor's commitment extends beyond diet. His trainer Luke Zocchi and stunt double Bobby Holland Hanton have highlighted the rigorous training involved. 'Chris takes it very, very seriously, and the shape he gets into, it's phenomenal,' Hanton said. Zocchi, a childhood friend of Hemsworth, attributed the success to 'consistency, hard work, and also eating the right foods.'

Hemsworth's training includes heavy weightlifting sessions lasting no more than an hour, often twice daily, along with boxing, HIIT, and other fitness techniques. The team aims to balance different styles to achieve optimal results for each film. 'We try and take the best parts of many different styles,' Hanton explained.
