Brinkley also credited Sailor with boosting her confidence, especially after her appearance in the 60th anniversary Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. "She's really into empowering herself to feel confident and good," Christie told People magazine. "She'll say to me... 'Mom, you're beautiful, embrace it.'"
