Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has revealed her dramatic weight loss transformation, dropping from a size 20 to a size 14 using the Voy weight-loss plan. The 61-year-old said she feels healthier and more confident, with improved back health and increased energy. 'All the clothes fit and some even have to be pinned because they are big,' she said. 'I've never had that happen on photo shoots before.'
Coleen, who has three children, emphasised that she does not want to lose more weight and is focused on maintaining a healthy relationship with food. She admitted her past eating habits were driven by emotions, saying, 'I used to eat when I was happy and sad.' Now, she feels more in tune with her body and no longer worries about it in the same way.
The renewed confidence has led Coleen to join the cast of Celebs Go Dating, after splitting from her last boyfriend in late 2024. She said she did not want to return to dating apps and felt ready to open herself up to love again. 'If they'd asked me before, I wouldn't have done it as I wouldn't have had the confidence,' she explained.
Coleen acknowledged the challenges of dating in her sixties, describing it as 'a minefield.' She said she receives attention from younger men on Instagram but has a rule not to date anyone she could have given birth to. Meanwhile, she finds some men her own age too sedentary, adding, 'I'm 61, but mentally I'm about 35. I want someone who still wants to live, laugh and do things.'
While remaining tight-lipped about whether she finds love on the show, Coleen said she had 'the best time' bonding with co-stars, including David Potts, Lucinda Light and James Haskell. She described the friendships as the best part and said the group remains in constant contact via WhatsApp.
Coleen continues to be a cornerstone of Loose Women, a role she has held for over two decades. She dismissed rumours of backstage drama, saying, 'We all get on. We've got a WhatsApp group and support each other through everything. It's like having 20 extra sisters.' She also praised newer panel members like GK Barry and Olivia Attwood, saying she learns from them even if she does not understand half of what they say.
