Danniella Westbrook Unveils Dramatic New Face After Reconstructive Surgery

Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has undergone major reconstructive surgery in Dubai, leaving her virtually unrecognisable. The 52-year-old actress, best known for playing Sam Mitchell, had a full face, neck and brow lift, as well as lip and nose reconstruction, performed by her trusted surgeon Dr Parviz Sadigh.

Photographs show Westbrook looking nervous before the operation, wearing a hospital gown. After surgery, she was pictured with her head heavily bandaged and face swollen and bruised as she left the hospital in a wheelchair, dressed in a pink cotton dress and sliders.

Westbrook has had multiple operations to rebuild her face following years of drug abuse, which destroyed her septum. Last June, she had nose surgery, and she has previously shared her journey on social media, thanking Dr Sadigh for his work and stating she was looking forward to further surgery in February.

The actress first found fame on EastEnders at age 16 but was forced out of the show due to addiction struggles. She later returned before being replaced by Kim Medcalf in 2002. Her last television appearance was on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, where she finished third. In December, she was hospitalised with breathing difficulties, leading to her role in Tales From The Trap being recast.
