Locorriere, who co-founded the group originally known as Dr Hook & The Medicine Show in 1971, rose to fame with timeless hits such as When You're In Love With A Beautiful Woman, Sharing The Night Together, and Sylvia's Mother. Alongside bandmates Ray Sawyer (who died in 2019), Billy Francis, and George Cummings, Locorriere helped define the sound of an era.

After the band's name was shortened to Dr Hook in 1975, Locorriere continued to perform and later embarked on a successful solo career. In 2014, the group re-entered the charts with Timeless, a 40-track collection that reached number 11 on the UK top 40, showcasing their enduring appeal.
