EastEnders star Lacey Turner has announced her first book, 'Gold Dust', just weeks after being confirmed as the first contestant for the 2026 series of Strictly Come Dancing. The actress, known for her role as Stacey Slater on the BBC One soap since 2004, shared the news on Instagram on June 25, 2026.

In her Instagram post, Turner wrote: 'Well… this is a bit surreal. I’ve spent the last year looking back on my life and talking about the women who helped shape me, and now I can finally share it with you. Gold Dust is packed with stories, laughter, life lessons and some very special people who have been there through every chapter of my life.' She added: 'Writing this book has reminded me just how lucky I’ve been to have such strong, funny and inspiring women around me.' The book is set for release on October 22, 2026, and is available for pre-order.
