Ferne McCann has spoken about how her faith in God has brought her 'peace and clarity', after her fiancé Lorri Haines was baptised. The former TOWIE star, 35, shared a message on Instagram encouraging her followers to 'slow down and pray', as she reflected on her religious beliefs.
Lorri Haines, who got engaged to Ferne in 2022, posted a video of his baptism, describing it as 'one of the most meaningful steps of my life'. He said: 'There's no feeling quite like surrendering yourself fully to God and to Jesus Christ, it's a peace that runs deeper than words.'
The couple, who met in Dubai in 2022, have had a rocky relationship, with rumours of a split last November. However, they remain together and share a two-year-old daughter, Finty. Lorri publicly declared his love for Ferne on Valentine's Day, posting pictures of the couple together.
Ferne has been open about her Christian faith, and Lorri's baptism marks a new chapter in their spiritual journey. The video shows him immersing himself in a baptism pool, symbolising his commitment to Christianity.
