Halle Berry has posted a series of beach bikini photos following comments from her ex-husband David Justice about their marriage. The Oscar-winning actress shared the images on social media over the weekend, showing her enjoying her birthday celebrations by the water.
In the photos, Berry wears a black triangle bikini and a flower crown, blowing a kiss to the camera and smiling. She captioned the post: 'Thank you from my heart for all the beautiful birthday wishes! Y'all ride for me and it makes me feel so good!'
The post came days after Justice, a former MLB player, made remarks on the All the Smoke podcast about their marriage from 1993 to 1997. He said he realised early on that they had different expectations, stating: 'I'm thinking a wife at that time should cook, clean, [be] traditional... she don't cook, don't clean, don't really seem like motherly.'
Berry responded to Justice's comments with a previous post showing her cooking, cleaning and spending time with her children and partner Van Hunt. She captioned it: 'Phew…! cooking, cleaning and mothering.'
Fans have rallied behind Berry, with one commenter writing: 'Imagine doing a whole interview about your ex-wife not cooking or being maternal and she's in another part of the world looking this good.' Another praised her for being 'vulnerable, real, motivating, flawed, successful, gorgeous, strong, and soft.'
