Ivanka Trump's Festive Family Ski Trip to Aspen Revealed in Christmas Photos
Ivanka Trump shares Christmas family photos from Aspen ski trip

Ivanka Trump has given her followers an intimate look at her family's traditional Christmas getaway, posting a series of festive snaps from their holiday in the exclusive ski resort of Aspen, Colorado.

A Family Affair on the Slopes

On Thursday, the former White House advisor took to Instagram to share moments from the trip, which included her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children: 13-year-old daughter Arabella, and sons Joseph, ten, and Theodore, eight. The collection of images painted a picture of a lively family holiday filled with winter sports and cosy indoor activities.

The first photo was a charming family portrait. Ivanka styled an emerald-green suede skirt with a black Western hat and boots, while Arabella mirrored her mother's footwear in a houndstooth dress. The boys coordinated in sky-blue sweaters. Further snaps showed the family embracing the alpine lifestyle, with Ivanka striking a pose on the mountain in a fiery red ski suit, her skis at the ready. Her sons were also seen sporting matching red ski trousers in another image.

Crafting and Cosy Moments by the Fire

Not all the fun was outdoors. One picture captured Ivanka and her daughter Arabella carefully cutting images from magazines, seemingly working on a collage together beside a warm fire. Another showed a beaming selfie of Ivanka with one of her sons on the ski slopes.

Captioning the post, Ivanka wrote, 'Merry Christmas from the mountains... The greatest gift is time together. Wishing everyone a joyful Christmas filled with love, gratitude, and family.'

A Celebrity Hotspot and Personal Reflections

This is not the first festive season the couple have spent in Aspen, a well-known magnet for celebrities during the ski season. Last year, they were seen dining with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos at the upmarket Matsuhisa restaurant. This year, they are in notable company, with stars like Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, and Mariah Carey also reportedly in town.

The holiday comes just months after Ivanka celebrated her 44th birthday in October, an occasion she marked by sharing 15 personal life lessons with her followers. Her reflections ranged from the central importance of family to more profound thoughts on healing. 'Peace is born not of forgetting, but of transforming pain into wisdom,' she wrote, quoting poet Rumi. She also championed kindness as a 'radical' and 'brave' act in today's world.

The Aspen album also included a throwback photo from her father Donald Trump's inauguration in January, and another from Bezos' summer wedding in Italy, blending recent holiday joy with moments from a significant year.
