Joy Behar has announced that she will be taking a hiatus from The View. The show's longtime co-host revealed she will miss a number of upcoming episodes as she embarks on a trip to Europe before heading to New York to star in the play My First Ex-Husband.
Speaking on The View's Behind the Table podcast on May 26, Behar shared her plans: "I fly to Paris this week, and then I go take the Chunnel to London after a week. And I'll be in London a second week doing my play, My First Ex-Husband, at the Boulevard Theatre in the West End."
The comedian and television personality will be taking a short vacation in Europe before performing in the one-woman show, which has previously been staged in New York. Behar's absence from the popular daytime talk show is expected to last several weeks as she balances travel and theatrical commitments.
