Katie Price has returned to hospital for yet another cosmetic procedure, sharing a topless photograph of herself as she prepared to go under the knife. The 47-year-old glamour icon, who has undergone at least 17 breast augmentations and numerous other surgeries, posted the image on social media with a 'Mood' sticker covering her modesty.
Another Procedure for the Star
In the photograph, Price wears a pink and green baseball cap and asks her followers to guess what she is having done. She captioned the post: "Quick little procedure. Any guesses?" This latest surgery comes after she admitted to feeling unhappy with her appearance, despite having had multiple nose jobs, facelifts, and a 'fox eye' lift.
Struggles with Body Dysmorphia
Price has previously spoken about her battle with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), a condition where a person obsessively worries about perceived flaws in their appearance. In a candid interview on the Go Love Yourself podcast, she confessed that her countless surgeries have left her "looking like a freak and an alien." She added: "I will let you know when I am happy with my looks."
Her mother, Amy, has expressed concern about her daughter's surgeries, claiming in 2023 that Price suffers from BDD. Price herself admitted to the disorder two years ago, explaining that it drives her constant desire to change her appearance.
Recent Procedures
Last week, Price showcased her new 'butterfly lips' on Facebook after undergoing the viral trend for a second time in Dubai. The procedure uses hyaluronic acid to enhance the cupid's bow. She posted a photo of her plumped pout with the caption: "Ouch! New butterfly lips."
Price has also defended her choices, hitting back at a friend who told her to stop having surgery and learn to love herself. Pointing at her surgically enhanced lips, she said in her vlog: "But that is not exactly surgery, that is fixing a problem." She added: "I do love myself. I am the best person ever inside, I just don't like what I look like."
