Actress Isla Fisher has spoken out about the separation of her close friend Nicole Kidman from Keith Urban, describing herself as 'really, really, really shocked'. The 49-year-old, who is also recently divorced from Sacha Baron Cohen, discussed the split during an appearance on the podcast 'Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade'.
Fisher revealed she had left a message for Kidman but had not yet connected, adding that she did not wish to comment further because 'there are children involved'. Kidman and Urban, who married in 2006, announced their separation in September after 19 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. They have two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Court documents filed by Kidman on September 6 outline a co-parenting plan in which she will serve as the primary residential parent, caring for the girls 306 days per year, while Urban will have custody for 59 days. The singer will have his daughters every other weekend from Saturday morning to Sunday evening, with major holidays split between the parents. Neither party will pay child support, as Urban has reportedly prepaid all obligations.
Fisher, who divorced Cohen in June 2025 after 23 years of marriage, has spoken about using the Carl Jung method to navigate her own separation. She described the experience as an opportunity to 'reinvent what the last act of my life is now from the ground up'.
