A hearty full English breakfast proved to be the perfect recipe for some startlingly honest revelations in last night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
A Welcome Change from Rice and Beans
The campmates received a much-appreciated break from their usual diet of rice and beans when they were treated to a proper fry-up. The meal, a taste of home for the jungle-dwellers, featured scrambled eggs, baked beans, mushrooms, and sausages.
Back on cooking duty was Jack Osbourne, 40, the son of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. Despite any past differences, Kelly Brook, 45, was full of praise for his culinary efforts, enthusiastically declaring, 'The mushrooms were to die for!'
Glamour Model Past and Present Identity
The breakfast conversation took a personal turn as the former Page 3 girl, smiling and make-up free, chatted with her campmates about her history as a 'pin-up'. Lisa Riley, 49, the Emmerdale actress, light-heartedly joked, 'You've always been a sex kitten... you've made a career out of it!'
Brook's response, however, was deeply introspective. She revealed a disconnect between her public image and her true self, stating, 'It's weird – it doesn't match your soul, what you portray. The face and the facade and the body doesn't match the person. I'm a clown inside!'
This candid moment offered a glimpse into the woman behind the glamour model persona, a career she began at 19 before landing the hosting role on Channel 4's The Big Breakfast in 1999 alongside Johnny Vaughan. Her tenure on the show lasted six months before she was replaced by Denise van Outen.
Snakes and Stars: Vogue Williams' Bush tucker Trial
Elsewhere in the episode, the camp's attention turned to a terrifying challenge. Vogue Williams, 40, was described as 'terrified' as she faced her first Bush tucker Trial.
The Irish broadcaster had to lie in a confined box with 15 snakes, an ordeal that left her screaming. Despite her fear, Williams demonstrated immense bravery, successfully winning all 12 stars for the camp.
She was joined in this victory by fellow celebrities Tom Read-Wilson, 39, Shona McGarty, 34 of EastEnders fame, and former Lioness Alex Scott, 41, securing a substantial food reward for the group.
