Kym Marsh has been seen beaming as she stepped out with her fiancé Tom Dickinson following their whirlwind engagement. The actress and presenter, who is set to turn 50 this summer, was spotted sporting a sparkling ring on her left hand during a casual outing in Manchester.
The former Coronation Street star took to Instagram on Sunday (April 5) to share a candid snap of herself walking down the street in a black dress and tights, with the ring clearly visible. She captioned the photo: "When you're happy... life is good!" and tagged Tom, adding a string of red heart emojis.
The engagement reportedly took place during a romantic trip to Paris, after just seven months of dating. Kym has not directly addressed the news, but the ring on her engagement finger has confirmed the speculation. This will be her fourth marriage.
The update comes as Kym marked 20 years since her debut on Coronation Street as Michelle Connor. She reshared a clip of her first scenes on Instagram Story, writing: "Wonderful memories!! Always love and miss my @coronationstreet fam." She added: "Also... how high pitched was my voice."
Kym played Michelle Connor from 2006 until 2019, when she decided to leave the ITV soap after 13 years. In a statement at the time, she said: "When I was lucky enough to be offered four episodes on Coronation Street I could never in my wildest dreams have thought I’d be here 13 years later."
