Former Love Island contestant Laura Anderson has reportedly ended her relationship with Dundee footballer Clark Robertson after 18 months together. The 36-year-old reality television star and the 32-year-old professional athlete are said to have parted ways following months of attempting to salvage their romance.

A source close to the couple revealed to The Sun that both individuals reached this conclusion after considerable reflection. "Laura and Clarke have called time on their relationship," the insider disclosed. "It was a difficult decision, they both have a lot of love for each other but realised it wasn't working."
The couple's last public appearance together on social media occurred on February 21, following a spa break. More recently, Anderson traveled to Dubai earlier this month with her two-year-old daughter Bonnie, whom she shares with ex-partner Gary Lucy, but Robertson did not accompany them on this trip.

This development stands in stark contrast to Anderson's optimistic comments about their relationship just months earlier. In December, she spoke openly about the challenges of blended families during the holiday season while simultaneously praising her bond with Robertson.
"Christmas time... can be an emotional, tricky time," Anderson admitted to The Sun. "I think blended families sort of bring hardship. It's not really something that I expected or had ever dealt with before. You have a child and then you meet someone and then they have kids... And actually, it's not always plain sailing."
Despite acknowledging these complexities, Anderson expressed confidence in their relationship at that time. "But we're really strong and we're doing better than ever really," she continued. "So it'll be nice to have the kids together around Christmas time because they get on really well."

"We went to Paris recently and everyone was messaging me like, 'are you going to get engaged,' and then we ended up witnessing a proposal but it wasn't mine," Anderson revealed. "But when it's meant to be, maybe somewhere other than the city of love though."

Anderson's relationship with Robertson had transformed her perspective on football. Last year, she embraced the role of a WAG (wives and girlfriends of footballers) and developed a newfound appreciation for the sport.
"I guess I'm a WAG now, I actually really like football, I didn't really like it before," she told The Sun. "To be honest, it just reminded me of my dad hogging the remote when we were young and I never got to watch what I wanted to watch."
She particularly enjoyed watching Robertson play, finding his on-field demeanor appealing. "But now I like going to the games - I think he looks very sexy actually because he's quite bossy on the pitch and he's not like that day-to-day, he's such a relaxed, chilled out guy, so on the pitch he's always pointing and I'm like 'what the hell what's going on?'"
