Love Island star Toni Laites has confirmed she will be absent from the upcoming episode of Love Island Aftersun, which airs on Sunday, July 5. The announcement comes as ITV prepares for a highly anticipated Movie Night segment, known for exposing secrets among the islanders.
Toni Laites Reveals Absence on The Debrief
During the latest episode of Love Island The Debrief, the ITV2 spin-off show, Toni Laites disclosed that she would not be appearing on Aftersun this week. The Debrief, which replaced The Morning After, is hosted by three fan-favourite islanders from Series 12: champion Toni Laites, runner-up Shakira Khan, and third-place finisher Toni Pettet.
Speaking on The Debrief, Toni said: "But I'm sad I won't be there on Aftersun this week with you guys to talk about it." Shakira Khan responded: "I know! But me and Yas will be there alongside Ty and the cast of dumpees. We'll have a lot to talk about." Yas added: "It's going to be a very very chaotic one and I can't wait to have a juicy goss."
Movie Night Promises Chaos
ITV has confirmed that Sunday's main episode will feature Movie Night, where hidden secrets and dramatic moments are expected to emerge. This segment is notorious for stirring up drama among the islanders, making it one of the most explosive episodes of the series. Toni's absence means she will miss the live discussion on Aftersun, which airs immediately after the main show at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

This is not the first time one of the trio has missed Aftersun. Several weeks ago, Shakira Khan was absent from an episode, prompting concern from viewers who wondered about her whereabouts. However, it is believed that ITV is rotating the programme's contributors on a regular basis throughout the series to keep the lineup fresh.
