Love Island bombshell Tina Rad has addressed speculation surrounding her striking transformation, openly admitting to having "stuff done" as she dismissed negative online commentary. The 25-year-old Geordie shot girl, who entered the villa during this year's sleepover twist, appeared virtually unrecognisable in photographs from just a few years ago.
Tina's Brief Villa Stint and Public Attention
Tina quickly developed a flirtatious connection with original islander Aidan Murphy, though their romance proved short-lived. She remained in the villa for just over a week before facing elimination from her fellow contestants following a public vote. Tina found herself among the three least favoured girls, alongside Priya Jaswal and Lola Deal.
Despite her brief stay, the ITV personality has remained in the public eye as fans discovered her dramatic "glow up." Her Instagram account, featuring posts stretching back to 2017, displays her remarkable transformation throughout the years. In one photograph shared in 2021, she appears more voluptuous than in her latest uploads, according to reports from OK!.
Addressing the Comments
Viewers have been debating Tina's looks since her initial villa arrival, though she recently told ITV's Daniel Ajose that their remarks "don't bother" her. "Can I be honest, guys? I'm not really bothered," she declared. "I just don't really care about people's opinions, whether it's all over social media or not. I think because I know myself and my friends and family know us, even if they were saying anything other than my appearance, I just wouldn't be bothered."
Tina proceeded to confess: "But it's the truth, I've changed a lot, you know. I've lost a lot of weight. I've had stuff done, like that's not hard to see." She concluded: "It's not nice, nasty comments, but what can you do?"
No Love Found in Majorca
The newfound reality star didn't find love in Majorca but had a fleeting connection with Aidan. Upon leaving the show, she confessed that things "were good" between them. However, she believes it "was more of a physical connection and just fancying each other."
"It was more like kissing someone in a club than full on love," Tina said. "I think I knew that going in. Unfortunately, he was the boy I fancied the most. I wasn't going to pretend that I wanted to be with someone else, or that I fancied someone else more just to stay in the game."
Love Island airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
