Madonna and Akeem Morris Spotted in Loved-Up Display at JFK

Madonna and her longtime boyfriend Akeem Morris were spotted at JFK Airport in New York City on Monday, showcasing a loved-up display as they traveled together. The 67-year-old Queen of Pop and her 30-year-old toyboy, who attended last week's Met Gala, appeared affectionate as Morris protectively wrapped his arm around her.

Coordinated Travel Style

The couple coordinated in black sweatsuits, with the singer adding a black puffer coat and pulling its hood over her blonde tresses. She attempted to go under the radar by wearing big, black sunglasses with red-tinted lenses. Madonna carried a sleek, black, matte leather Dolce & Gabbana tote and rounded out her look with black sneakers. For his part, Morris layered a zip-up hoodie over a white T-shirt and carried a green Goyard duffle bag.

Birthday Celebrations

The pair, together since July 2024, were on the move after celebrating the former soccer star's birthday. Morris took to Instagram on Monday to share a carousel of photos from his celebration with loved ones. Madonna, as well as her 13-year-old twins Stella and Estere, appeared in the social media post which was full of affectionate snapshots. 'THIRD FLOOR,' the ex-athlete wrote in a caption to his 25,000 followers. The post was soundtracked to the Peggy Gou remix of Madonna's new song I Feel So Free.

Upcoming Album and Recent Appearances

It comes ahead of the entertainer's highly-anticipated album Confessions II, due out this summer. In April, Madonna stunned fans as she teased her return to music, after a seven-year hiatus from the charts. The new album is a follow-up to her 2005 LP Confessions on a Dance Floor which featured the smash hit Hung Up. After surprising fans on stage with Sabrina Carpenter during Coachella weekend two, the pair released a song called Bring Your Love.

Met Gala 2026

On May 4, Madonna walked the Met Gala 2026 red carpet in a black, gothic-inspired Saint Laurent lace gown and satin opera gloves. She swapped out her usual blonde hair for a long, raven-hued wig which she topped with a headpiece featuring a pirate ship accoutrement. Her dramatic look also boasted a long, sheer grey cape that clung to her headdress. The extravagant ensemble was designed by Anthony Vaccarello, who posed with her during some moments. This year's Met Gala theme was Costume Art, with the dress code being 'Fashion Is Art.' Her look was inspired by a 1945 painting called The Temptation of St. Anthony.
