Machine Gun Kelly Steps Out as Devoted Dad in LA with Baby Saga
MGK's Festive Shopping Trip with Baby Daughter Saga

Machine Gun Kelly has been pictured embracing his role as a devoted father during a festive shopping excursion in Los Angeles. The 34-year-old musician, whose real name is Colson Baker, was seen tenderly cradling his baby daughter, Saga, in one arm while managing a shopping bag with the other.

A Rare Family Outing in LA

The rock star appeared relaxed and casual for the errands, focusing his attention on his infant daughter. This heartwarming public appearance comes shortly after a rare family reunion with his former partner, actress Megan Fox. The pair, who reportedly split in November 2024, were seen together earlier this month during a sun-soaked getaway in Miami.

The former couple welcomed their daughter, Saga, in March 2024. Despite their separation, which followed claims Fox discovered Kelly had been communicating with other women, insiders suggest the actress has been impressed with how he has "stepped up" as a father. This has inevitably fuelled whispers among fans that the ex-fiancés might be finding their way back to each other.

The Story Behind the Striking Blackout Tattoo

Just days before the Los Angeles shopping trip, Kelly turned heads in Miami by showcasing his dramatic blackout chest tattoo. The extensive body art, which blankets much of his upper torso in solid black ink, was first revealed in February 2024. Kelly shared a striking Instagram photo of the tattoo at the time, captioned "For spiritual purposes only."

The musician linked the extreme tattoo to a turbulent period in his life, referencing it in his emotionally charged track 'Don’t Let Me Go'. He rapped about having a breakdown and tattooing his entire body except for one line. However, during his recent Miami Beach outing with friends, he appeared in high spirits, his jaw-dropping body art fully on display.

The Demanding Tattoo Process

The creation of the blackout piece was a formidable undertaking. Kelly's tattoo artist, Roxx, told TMZ that the rock star engaged in a "spiritual consultation" beforehand, expressing that his existing tattoos felt "chaotic" and no longer resonated with him.

The process required 44 needles and began in mid-December 2023. Roxx described Kelly as the "toughest client she's ever had," with the musician attending her private Los Angeles studio four days a week for thirteen rigorous six-hour sessions. The project remains one of the biggest she has completed in such a short timeframe.

In a testament to the intense experience, Kelly replied to Roxx's Instagram post showcasing the work, writing, "thanks for the joy and the pain." Meanwhile, Megan Fox has also expanded her tattoo collection in 2024, acquiring an intricate full sleeve on her left arm featuring a phoenix and flowers.

As the former couple navigates co-parenting their young daughter, the public glimpses of family outings and mutual respect continue to keep hopes alive for fans of their once highly-publicised romance.
