Mike Tindall has offered a rare glimpse into his home life with wife Zara, revealing the affectionate nicknames they use for each other. The former England rugby captain, who is married to Princess Anne's daughter, told Woman & Home magazine that they call each other 'munchkin' and also use 'Z' and 'Mikey-T'.
The couple, who married in 2011, have three children: Mia, 12, Lena, seven, and Lucas, five. Mike admitted that balancing parenthood with professional commitments can be stressful, but emphasised the importance of finding a way to get things done while having fun. 'You've always got to see the funny side,' he said.
Mike also shared details of their division of labour at home, describing Zara as an amazing cook who is better than him on the barbecue. He takes charge of washing up and clearing up, which he called 'my space'.
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond commented on Mike's anecdotes, noting that unlike Prince Harry, Mike never offends or criticises the Royal Family. She said his stories are harmless and offered with good humour, and that the family regard him as a huge asset.
