Children's television favourite Justin Fletcher, best known as Mr Tumble on CBeebies' Something Special, has been pictured with his new girlfriend, co-star Samantha Dorrance, who is 21 years his junior. The 55-year-old entertainer is said to be 'madly in love' with the 34-year-old, who plays Tootsie on the show.
The couple were seen arriving at the four-star Mount Country Manor Hotel in Wolverhampton for a romantic getaway, wearing matching New York Yankees baseball caps. Fletcher, dressed in a green gilet and sunglasses, kept a close eye on their luggage while Dorrance wore a dress and sweater. They are taking a break from the Justin Live: Justin Time to Rock! tour.
Reports suggest that Dorrance has moved into Fletcher's £2.5 million farmhouse in Oxfordshire, where they enjoy a quiet life. The couple are convinced that the age gap 'isn't an issue' for either of them. Fletcher, who was awarded an MBE in 2012, is estimated to be worth £2 million.
Fletcher has previously spoken about wanting to settle down and start a family. In 2012, he told the Mirror that he had been single for a while due to his workaholic nature but hoped romance would come along. He said: 'I would love to have children so need to find someone who likes kids.'
Dorrance, who made her West End debut in her late teens, landed the role of Tootsie more than a decade ago. The pair have also performed together in pantomime productions, including a run of Cinderella nearly two years ago, where Dorrance posted a photo with the caption: 'I couldn't ask for a better Buttons.'
