Social media sensation Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, has been left utterly devastated following a heartless burglary at her mother's Essex home that saw thieves steal precious jewellery belonging to her late father.
Emotional Plea on Social Media
The cleaning and lifestyle influencer took to Instagram to share her anguish and fury, directly addressing the perpetrators who violated her family's home in Maldon on 27th January between 10am and 6pm. In a lengthy and emotional post, she described the incident as "cruel, disgusting, and cowardly," emphasising that this was far more than a simple theft.
Sentimental Loss Beyond Value
Mrs Hinch revealed that the stolen items were irreplaceable pieces of jewellery that held immense sentimental value for her grieving mother. "That jewellery may be worthless to you, but it is priceless to my mum," she wrote. Her father passed away in April 2024, and her mother has been trying to rebuild her life since losing her husband.
The burglary has compounded this grief, with Mrs Hinch stating that her mother is now struggling in the wake of this violation. "You broke into a grieving woman's home and stole her jewellery! items that belonged to my late Dad," she expressed, highlighting the profound personal impact of the crime.
A Determined Vow for Justice
In her public message, Mrs Hinch made it unequivocally clear that this matter "WILL NOT be dropped." She urged the thieves to anonymously return the jewellery, hand it in somewhere, or simply "do the right thing." She warned that the area is being monitored, the incident is being widely shared, and that it will be actively pursued.
She heartbreakingly concluded, "No one deserves this!!!! especially not my mum," underscoring the deep emotional toll on her family. This distressing event follows the "deep unimaginable pain" Mrs Hinch previously shared about losing her father, making the theft of his belongings particularly cutting.
