Despite her husband's staggering £180 million fortune, Paris Fury has revealed that Christmas in the Fury household is a surprisingly humble and family-focused affair. The 36-year-old television personality and matriarch to seven children has opened up about their festive traditions, which prioritise togetherness over extravagance.
A Simple Feast for a Crowd
Paris, who is married to heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, explained that Christmas Day is reserved for their immediate family at their Morecambe home. This includes their children: Venezuela, 16, Prince John James, 13, Prince Tyson II, eight, Valencia, seven, Prince Adonis, six, Athena, three, and one-year-old Rico.
The real gathering, however, happens on Boxing Day, when their massive extended Traveller families descend, bringing the guest count to nearly 100. "We've got massive families, about 40 on each side with nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters... they will all come," Paris told The Sun.
When it comes to the festive feast, fancy fare is firmly off the menu. Paris insists on traditional cooking, with everyone mucking in. "I do all of the cooking, but the kids do help me out," she said. "They peel the potatoes, chop the vegetables, everything is done in a proper methodical order."
The spread features Bisto gravy, a large turkey, stuffing, and Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puddings. "It wouldn't be a Christmas dinner without a Yorkshire pudding," Paris stated, describing the meal as "very simple and traditional."
The One Unbreakable Christmas Rule
Amidst the chaos of a full house, Paris enforces one non-negotiable rule to ensure quality family time. Mobile phones are banned, and everyone must gather to watch a Christmas movie together. "It's a family tradition!" she declared.
While the family has a grand dining table where she and Tyson sit on ornate thrones, Paris confessed they usually eat in the cosier kitchen. "That big dining room table only gets used when all the family comes round," she admitted.
New Additions and Future Chapters
This year, the Fury clan may welcome extra guests, as Molly-Mae Hague, the girlfriend of Tyson's brother Tommy, plans to spend part of the festive period with them. Molly-Mae confirmed she would be cooking Christmas lunch with Tommy's mum.
The family is also celebrating a recent milestone, as their eldest daughter, Venezuela, became engaged to boyfriend Noah Price on her 16th birthday in September. Paris defended her daughter's choice, noting she and Tyson were a similar age when they got engaged, and it aligns with their Traveller traditions.
When asked about potentially becoming a grandmother while still in her thirties, Paris said, "I'm only young and I don't feel ready to be called 'Nan' just yet." However, she added that they would welcome that chapter with love when it arrives.
As for expanding their own brood, Paris feels her family is complete. "I'm very happy as we are. Seven is a beautiful, busy number, and I feel so blessed," she commented. "I'm not planning any more at this stage – my hands are full and my heart is full!"
