Piers Morgan: King Charles Doesn't Trust Harry and Meghan

Piers Morgan has claimed that King Charles does not fully trust Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but would “love” to see his youngest son regardless, as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex prepare to return to the UK with their children for the first time since 2022.

Harry and Meghan's First UK Visit Since 2022

In a few weeks, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will step foot in Britain together for the first time since 2022. The couple, who quit royal life in 2020, will be accompanied by their children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, who have not been in their father’s home country for four years. It is believed the family of four will stay at a royal residence and may reunite with some royal relatives.

Potential Reunion with King Charles

The meeting likely includes King Charles, whom Harry last saw in September last year. The meeting would likely be private, held in a royal residence away from the public. While the King would be looking forward to seeing his son—especially if his grandchildren are present—broadcaster Piers Morgan said the King would also feel wary about trusting Harry and Meghan.

Piers Morgan's Analysis on Trust

Speaking on The Royals Uncensored podcast on YouTube, Piers Morgan said: “The King, as a father, would love to see his son. Obviously he would. Charles doesn't like confrontation. He would just like it to be calm. The problem is, how do you trust these two?” Since quitting royal life six years ago, Harry and Meghan have been openly critical about the Firm and have revealed personal conversations with royal relatives.

No Official Comment from Royal Family

The Royal Family has not commented on whether a meeting will take place between the King and the family of four, and would be unlikely to comment as it is a personal family matter.
