Prince Harry arrived alone in central London on Tuesday July 7 to attend the fourteenth Invictus Games Foundation Conversation: From Policy to Practice at Chatham House, part of the One Year to Go celebrations for the Invictus Games Birmingham 2027. Without his wife Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, his solo appearance drew attention.
Body Language Expert Analyses Prince Harry's Demeanour
Inbaal Honigman, a celebrity psychic and body language expert, watched TV news footage of the Duke of Sussex's arrival and exclusively told Express.co.uk: "Prince Harry is feeling a little vulnerable, as if he can't assess whether people there are for him or against him. Facing the cameras in his sharp suit, the Prince is leaning forwards a little. This little lean is like a miniature bow, indicating that he is eager to please."
Honigman noted that Harry's forward lean suggests a desire to be accepted and a search for public support. She observed: "While one of his hands waves at the assembled press, Harry's left hand is seen covering his middle. The hand is managing his suit button, but it is there longer than it takes to fasten it. This is a defensive gesture, as he's feeling vulnerable and is trying to protect himself. As the hand is over his middle, he's indicating that this is where his nerves are."
Loneliness and Need for a Shield
Reflecting on his solo appearance, Honigman said: "Without his wife and the support of his family, the Prince's loneliness is playing a part in his need for a shield, and his hand plays that role." Harry's request for security for his family was refused, leading to his decision to travel alone.
Legal Loss Against Daily Mail Publisher
Harry's arrival at the event came just half an hour before it was publicly revealed that he had lost his claim against the publisher of the Daily Mail, Associated Newspapers Ltd. The prince, alongside other claimants, accused the publisher of publishing stories with information gathered from unlawful information gathering. A trial began in January, with a ruling made today. Mr Justice Nicklin said that all the claims against Associated Newspapers Ltd had been dismissed.
Harry's Week in the UK
Harry is set to spend the week in the UK carrying out public and private engagements. The absence of Meghan Markle, who rarely leaves his side, was noticeable. His body language suggested vulnerability and a need for protection, according to the expert.
