PSG Demand £188m for Mbappe After Rejecting Real Madrid's £137m Bid

Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly demand £188 million for Kylian Mbappe after rejecting Real Madrid's opening bid of £137 million, according to French newspaper Le Parisien. The French club's sporting director, Leonardo, expressed fury over Real Madrid's approach, which he described as 'illegal' and 'disrespectful.'

Mbappe, 22, is out of contract at the end of the season, and PSG risk losing him on a free transfer if they cannot secure a new deal. Leonardo accused Real Madrid of making contact with the player's representatives without permission, calling their behaviour 'incorrect' and 'illegal.'

Leonardo stated that PSG had made Mbappe a 'big offer' two months ago and an even higher one more recently, but Real Madrid's strategy has been to unsettle the player. He emphasised that PSG would not sell Mbappe for less than they paid for him when he was 18, which was around £166 million.

While Leonardo left the door open for a potential transfer, he insisted it would be on PSG's terms. 'If someone wants to go, we are not going to say no, but he will leave on our terms,' he said. Mbappe has scored 133 goals in 174 games for PSG since joining on loan in 2017 before making the move permanent a year later.
