Rapper and I'm A Celebrity star Aitch has been seen embracing the festive season in his hometown of Manchester, embarking on a last-minute Christmas shopping trip complete with a Santa hat and a selection of spirits.
Festive Shopping in His Hometown
The 26-year-old musician, whose real name is Harrison James Armstrong, was photographed heading into a local shop wearing the festive headwear and carrying a Christmas wreath. His shopping basket contained several bottles of Southern Comfort, suggesting preparations for holiday celebrations are well underway.
This sighting comes just days after the chart-topping artist, whose debut album Close to Home reached number two in the UK, made an unannounced visit to spread cheer at Bolton Royal Hospital. He met patients and families, handed out gifts, and recorded a festive video message as "Santa Aitch."
From the Jungle to the High Street
Aitch, who hails from Moston, recently finished in fourth place on the latest series of ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! He was a favourite with viewers and was at one point the frontrunner to be crowned King of the Jungle, before YouTube star AngryGinge ultimately won.
During his time in the Australian jungle, the rapper won over new fans with his warmth and humour, though he later admitted to the Mirror that the 24/7 nature of the show was challenging. He revealed there was a moment he nearly asked to be rescued, struggling with the constant camera presence and lack of solitude.
A History of Surprising Fans
Known for his spontaneous interactions with the public, Aitch has a reputation for surprising people while out and about. He has previously taken a lucky fan on a birthday shopping trip to Selfridges and has been known to host impromptu mini-raves in shopping centres.
With his high-profile stint in the jungle now over, fans in Manchester will be keeping an eye out for a potential unexpected encounter with the star during the remaining festive days.
