Sharon Osbourne Reveals Ozzy's Heartbreaking Health Battle

Sharon Osbourne has opened up about the final days of her husband Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away on Tuesday at his home in Buckinghamshire. The Black Sabbath frontman, 76, had been battling Parkinson's disease since 2019 and his health had deteriorated significantly in recent months.

In the days before his death, Ozzy had appeared in good spirits, with his daughter Kelly dismissing rumours he was dying earlier this month. However, a source close to the family revealed that the rock legend 'knew his days were numbered' after his final performance in Birmingham.

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, who performed at the farewell concert, described the after-party as a 'celebration of life' where Ozzy was able to say goodbye to friends and fans. 'We got to have the celebration of life before he passed. I mean, what a beautiful thing,' Ellefson said.

An air ambulance was dispatched to Ozzy's home on Tuesday morning after he fell critically ill. Paramedics fought for two hours to save him, but their efforts were unsuccessful. A neighbour described the community's shock as the helicopter landed near the property.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance confirmed their involvement, stating that the helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care. The medical team arrived within 15 minutes but were unable to revive the singer.
