Susan Boyle has sent fans into a frenzy this week after teasing a new project, but now many are convinced they have cracked the code. The 65-year-old singer hinted at releasing new music with an Instagram post on Wednesday captioned: 'A new era starts tomorrow'. She followed up with another post showing her in a brown tracksuit inside a recording studio, with the words 'Just One' on her outfit and the caption that she was 'Susan Boyling'.
Fan Theories Emerge
While many commenters speculated that 'Just One' could be the title of a new song or album, the post was marked as an 'ad', causing confusion. Now, eagle-eyed fans suspect it is not a music release but a collaboration with ice cream company Cornetto. Taking to X/Twitter, one fan mused: 'I don’t want to disappoint the entire globe, but I think Susan Boyle is teasing a collab… with Cornetto.'
They reasoned: 'It’s 40 years since their OG iconic advert, it’s the font, the colours, the use of #ad on her posts… and what’s better than an ice cream when you’re Susan Boyling?' On Instagram, Cornetto commented with an open eye emoji, leading fans to respond: 'oh it’s an ad… we’re cooked'; 'omg i was right can i have a free ice cream pls just one x'; and another added: 'it's a tragedy because one of the first things i did this morning was check spotify because if Susan Boyle is dropping RNB on a random Friday on May. It would have been generational. The fact this is all probably for a Cornetto ad is a bit disappointing :('.
