Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly turned heads during the latest live show with a more understated look than usual. The 54-year-old presenter wore a one-shoulder form-fitting black midi dress with mesh side panels, letting her hair and makeup take centre stage. She styled her blonde tresses in loose waves and opted for smoky eye makeup paired with nude lipstick.
Sharing photos of her outfit on Instagram, Daly wrote: 'Week 4 @bbcstrictly here we go!' In one image, she leaned back with one heeled foot on a box, beaming at the camera. A candid close-up also showed off her flawless complexion. Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise, with one writing: 'Tess you look incredible,' and another adding: 'Gorgeous dress, looking fab Tess.'
Daly typically wears more elaborate outfits for the show. In week two, she sported a blue suit with a 'stunning' blowout, while for Movie Week she wore a pink silk dress with a thigh-high slit. Alongside co-host Claudia Winkleman, Daly recently discussed the challenges of fronting the live programme. She said: 'The biggest challenge is probably running up the stairs and across the studio at speed in stilettos! My calves do not thank me the next day.'
Winkleman echoed the sentiment, adding: 'The biggest challenge is walking in heels.' Despite the difficulties, both presenters expressed their love for the show, with Daly describing it as 'completely authentic' and a 'total joy'.
