Tom Dean, the Olympic swimmer and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, has reunited with his ex-girlfriend Charlotte Phillips two years after their relationship ended. The 26-year-old confirmed the reconciliation by posting affectionate photos on Instagram, including a mirror selfie with the caption: “Happy Birthday, lots [love heart emoji].”

Dean and Phillips, who had been dating for nearly a year, parted ways shortly after Dean was eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing in 2024. He was the first celebrity to be voted off the show, partnered with professional dancer Nadiya Bychkova. At the time, a source told The Sun: “Like in so many breakups, Tom and Lottie’s year-long relationship had naturally run its course and it has nothing to do with Strictly. It just happened to be in the first two weeks that they decided to part ways. They are still good friends and it’s all amicable between them.”

Meanwhile, Dean’s former dance partner Nadiya Bychkova announced her departure from Strictly Come Dancing in March 2026.
