Vicky Pattison Breaks Down in Tears During First TV Appearance Since Strictly Exit

Strictly Come Dancing star Vicky Pattison broke down in tears during her first television appearance since being eliminated from the competition. The TV personality and her professional partner Kai Widdrington were voted off after landing in the dance-off against EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

Speaking to host Janette Manrara on the spin-off show It Takes Two, Pattison became emotional while watching a highlights video of her time on the BBC series. 'I'll never be able to put into words what Strictly meant to me,' she said tearfully, reaching for tissues.

The 36-year-old reflected on her journey, saying: 'My big takeaway is if anybody puts their mind to something, once they get outside their comfort zone and work hard and be kind to other people, amazing things can happen.' She added that she was grateful for the opportunity to prove that 'you're never too old to try something new.'

Pattison and Widdrington became the seventh couple to leave the competition, just before Blackpool Week. Widdrington admitted the dance-off was 'new territory' for them and 'a tough moment.' Despite the exit, Pattison described her time on the show as 'an absolute joy from start to finish.'

During the interview, Manrara surprised Pattison with a video message from her husband Ercan Ramadan, who praised her as 'an incredible woman' and 'an inspiration.' The couple's dogs also appeared in the clip.
