Brooklyn Beckham Addresses 'Nepo Baby' Criticism: 'I Couldn't Help How I Was Born'

Brooklyn Beckham has spoken out about being labelled a 'nepo baby', acknowledging his privileged background but insisting he works hard to prove his critics wrong. In an interview with Grazia, the 25-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham said: 'Obviously I am one. But I couldn't help how I was born, at all.'

He added: 'There's always going to be people that say rubbish. But as long as you do something that makes you happy and you're kind to people, that's all that matters.' Brooklyn, who has tried careers in football and photography, now focuses on his hot sauce brand Cloud23, launched after three years of development.

His wife, actress Nicola Peltz, expressed pride in his venture, saying: 'I can't believe today is the day. I am so beyond proud of you baby.' The couple married in 2022 after a whirlwind romance that began in October 2019, and they live in the US with their dogs.

Brooklyn's family, including parents David and Victoria, siblings Harper and Cruz, attended his London launch event earlier this month. Victoria shared on Instagram: '@brooklynpeltzbeckham your dream has become a reality, and we could not have been prouder of you last night.'

Regarding future plans, Brooklyn told InStyle in June that he hopes to become a young father, saying: 'I always wanted to be a young dad, but, obviously, [it's] up to my wife. My wife really wants kids as well. So soon, hopefully.'
