Kit is convinced Gary knows more than he is letting on as he grills him over Todd's phone. Soon, Kit's suspicions are aroused once more as he watches hushed conversations, and he tells Lisa he is certain Gary is their killer. With Maria concerned about her relationship with Gary, what will she say when Lisa asks to go back over her statement from the night Theo died?
Summer's Hospital Ordeal
Todd learns Summer has been admitted to hospital, and she soon admits she switched off her insulin pump and made herself ill because she cannot cope with life in prison. But when Todd reveals this news in the pub, will someone's guilt be shown? As Asha, Nina, and Todd visit Summer in hospital, Summer breaks down as she admits she is dreading going back to prison.
Sam's Psychosis Worsens
Sam imagines he hears Roy urging him to take control and rid himself of Will once and for all. When Sam brings this conversation up with Roy the next day, Roy is baffled. Sam heads off to see Will, where Sam hears Roy telling him that Will is going to kill him. As Sam rushes off, he is left concerned to see two different Roys, unaware of what is real. As residents realise what is going on and try to help Sam, Carla tracks him down and offers him support. Carla does her best to calm him down while calling his father Nick to alert him to where they are. As Sam makes a run for it, Carla tells Nick and David she believes Sam is suffering from psychosis.
Other Storylines
Daniel apologises to Adam and Alya and tells them he appreciates their help as the social worker visits. David accuses Jodie of stealing Harper's five-month milestone card, while later he tries to make things up to Shona. Will confides in Hope that he is considering giving up athletics as it reminds him of Megan. Will tells Hope he has had a text from an old running friend from Hull who wants to meet up. But as Will waits for Lee, Megan approaches and Will realises he has been duped. Carl tells Tyrone that he is having flashbacks of the night he was injured, leaving Tyrone shaken. Tyrone ends up confessing all to Fiz about Carl's accident and Summer's statement. Finally, Ronnie has an idea and Debbie is surprised by a trip to Spain by her friends Christina, Glenda, and Sally.
