Canadian country-pop star Shania Twain has teamed up with McDonald's Canada to launch a limited-time menu collection called 'Shania's Sides'. The collaboration, announced on Monday, began on Tuesday at participating locations across Canada.
The collection features two fan favourites: All Dressed McShaker Fries, seasoned with the iconic 'All Dressed' flavour, and the return of the Strawberry Pie, described as 'sweet, stylish, and baked daily'. Additionally, customers can purchase a limited-edition cowboy boot keychain with an Extra Value Meal, while supplies last.
Twain, 59, worked at a McDonald's in Toronto before rising to international fame. 'This collaboration feels like a homecoming for me,' she said. 'I fell in love with McDonald's fries while working as a crew member in Toronto, so being able to dress them up with my personal touch was surreal.'
In 2023, Twain told ET Canada that she 'learned a lot' from her time at McDonald's, particularly enjoying working in the drive-thru. 'I always love, like, 'Welcome to McDonald's, can I take your order please?' It's just very quite rhythmic, and I like to serve. I like to make people happy,' she said.
