Woman Told to Hide Boyfriend Who Looks Like Chris Brown

A woman has been told to 'hide' her boyfriend because he bears a striking resemblance to American R&B singer Chris Brown. The woman, identified as Hunter from Florida, shared a video on TikTok under the username @huntervanzandttt, showing her boyfriend at a petrol station and declaring that she has her 'own Chris Brown at home'.

Chris Brown's Rise to Fame

Chris Brown rose to fame after signing with Jive Records in 2004 and releasing his self-titled debut album, which went double platinum. The album featured hits such as Run It!, Yo (Excuse Me Miss), Gimme That (Remix), Say Goodbye, and Poppin'. In 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to felony assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna and was sentenced to five years probation with six months of community service. He released an album that same year, which underperformed commercially.

Later Career and Current Tour

Two years later, Brown released his fourth album F.A.M.E., which became his first to top the Billboard 200. The album included hits such as Yeah 3x, the Diamond-certified Look at Me Now, and Beautiful People. It also earned him a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album. Now aged 37, Chris Brown is currently in the midst of a major tour with Usher Raymond.

Social Media Reaction

In her TikTok video, Hunter said: 'That's my baby, he's iconic. Chris Brown dupe, but I got him at home.' The comment section was divided over whether the man actually resembled Chris Brown. One user commented: 'My husband looks like Chris Brown too. We both got Chris Browns at home.' Another added: 'Definitely have Chris Brown at home, you blessed.' A third wrote: 'Sis, where you find one of these?' While a fourth simply said: 'Girl hide him.'

However, not everyone agreed. One person stated: 'He looks nothing like Chris Brown. I don't understand.' Another remarked: 'Sorry, but I think he's more attractive than Chris Brown.'
