Sheri Nicole Easterling, the mother of social media star Addison Rae, is reportedly engaged in a legal battle to secure sole custody of her youngest child. This development comes just seven months after her ex-husband, Monty Lopez, was arrested on a felony obscenity charge classified as a sex crime.

The 46-year-old matriarch has formally petitioned the court to become the primary caretaker of their 12-year-old son, Lucas Lopez. Additionally, she is seeking child support, as their older son, Enzo Lopez, is now a legal adult at 18 years old. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Easterling has proposed that the 50-year-old patriarch should only have supervised visitation rights with Lucas.
Easterling's custody petition includes detailed allegations of verbal and physical abuse spanning nearly two decades. She claims incidents date back to 2005, when Lopez allegedly pushed her violently and squeezed her neck. Further accusations include Lopez slapping Addison Rae across the face in 2008 for talking back, and in 2018, beating her with a pillow and holding it over her face after she rejected his sexual advances.
