Katie Price Attempts to Debunk Scammer Claims Against Husband Lee Andrews

Katie Price has made a public attempt to counter numerous allegations labeling her husband, Lee Andrews, as a scammer. The 47-year-old former glamour model, who married the 42-year-old businessman in January after a whirlwind romance, posted a video on her YouTube channel addressing the controversy.

Addressing Education Claims and Legal Troubles

In the video, Price read a statement she attributed to Andrews, clarifying his educational background. She acknowledged confusion about his qualifications, stating, "I have seen something from Cambridge, it's a thesis or whatever it's called from Cambridge, but the PHD is from Spain, so yeah I got that wrong." She insisted Andrews has an associate degree in engineering by distance learning from Cambridge that is notarized and attested, while claiming rumors about a Cambridge PhD originated as hearsay.

The statement further asserted that Andrews holds an honorary doctorate and has produced a published thesis, with plans to make it available publicly. It also mentioned his company registration in the British Virgin Islands and denied any criminal investigations or arrests.

Dubai Legal Issues and Financial Allegations

Andrews faces serious legal challenges in Dubai, where he reportedly spent three weeks in jail for allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend's signature to obtain a £200,000 loan. He denies these allegations. According to Dubai law, individuals under criminal investigation, including for unpaid debts or civil lawsuits, cannot legally leave the country, and Andrews is said to be subject to a travel ban.

Multiple women have come forward with financial claims against Andrews. One US-based businesswoman reported receiving desperate voice notes from him requesting money ranging from £1,100 to £2,500 for what she believed was a business opportunity. In these messages, Andrews allegedly described himself as cash-strapped, living off 20-pence ready meals while waiting for business payments from Kenya.

Another ex-girlfriend, Alana Percival, has branded Andrews "embarrassing" and compared him to the Tinder Swindler, claiming four women contacted her recently with similar stories of financial requests.

Price's Personal Defense of Her Marriage

Despite the mounting allegations, Price passionately defended her relationship with Andrews in the video. "I'm with Lee for Lee," she declared. "I couldn't give a s**t if he was a binman, I couldn't give a s**t if he was a rich man or a bind man, how I connect with Lee and how I get on with Lee and how I feel about Lee and how he treats me is all I care about."

She expressed happiness in her marriage and asked others to be happy for her, even as scrutiny intensifies around Andrews' business achievements and legal standing.

Ongoing Investigations and Denials

Allegations have been reported to Herefordshire Police and subsequently handed to Dubai authorities, according to sources. Andrews' ex-girlfriend Dina discovered the alleged loan fraud after receiving a call from a mortgage company and filed a legal case against him.

Throughout the controversy, Andrews has denied all previous claims against him. The Daily Mail has contacted his representatives for comment on the latest allegations.
