Meghan King Accuses Ex Jim Edmonds of Phone Number Leak to Escorts

Police Report Details Meghan King's Allegations Against Ex-Husband Jim Edmonds

A police report from September 2025 reveals that Meghan King, former star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, accused her ex-husband Jim Edmonds of leaking her phone number to escorts several years ago so they could harass her. Edmonds, a retired professional baseball player, has firmly denied these allegations through his representative.

Threatening Phone Calls Prompt Police Report

King, 41, made these claims while reporting a separate incident to the Kirkwood Police Department in the St. Louis suburbs last September. She told authorities that an unidentified person had been calling her and making "crazed overt threats" against her and her three children. An officer listened to two voicemails from a female-sounding suspect who threatened to hurt, grab, or kill King and her children while stating King would "go to jail."

According to the police report obtained by TMZ, King described the threats as becoming increasingly incoherent over two months, with the caller using new numbers after being blocked. The report noted: "The suspect speaks calmly at times and quickly at others, using frequently-repeated phrases or details in a rambling and erratic manner."

Connection to Custody Dispute and Edmonds' Denial

When asked if she believed the threatening calls were related to Edmonds, King said she didn't know but alleged that years earlier, he had given prostitutes her phone number and instructed them to harass her. She told police her ex-husband had been "losing his mind" over their custody dispute.

Edmonds' representative Steve Honig strongly repudiated the claims, stating: "This is the first anyone is hearing of this, and it's absurd. Jim is spending his time in Tennessee raising his kids and doesn't have time for such nonsense." Honig declined to provide further comment to the Daily Mail, which also reached out to King's representative and the Kirkwood Police Department.

Background of King and Edmonds' Relationship

Edmonds, 55, was married to King from 2014 until 2021, and they share three children: daughter Aspen, nine, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, seven. King temporarily lost custody of her children late last year following a Child Protective Services investigation reportedly initiated by a school employee's call.

Multiple sources reported in November that a school nurse called CPS after King asked for Ritalin for her seven-year-old son Hayes, who has reportedly never been diagnosed with ADHD. Ritalin is a prescription medication for treating ADHD, and a source alleged King had given it to Hayes multiple times without a prescription.

Current Custody Arrangement and Police Response

In December, it emerged that King and Edmonds had reached an agreement for the children to live full-time with Edmonds and his current wife Kortnie in Tennessee, visiting their mother for a few weeks each summer. This followed King's temporary loss of custody months earlier.

Regarding the new threatening calls, the police report indicated an investigation was launched, and "a department-wide email was sent requesting a close patrol of [King's] residence." King told police that after an overwhelming wave of calls and texts, she received a message from an unknown number containing a photo of a text allegedly sent by Edmonds with instructions to harass her.

The situation highlights ongoing tensions between the former couple amid serious allegations and legal proceedings, with police continuing to investigate the threatening communications while Edmonds maintains his innocence regarding the escort harassment claims.
