Taylor Swift Cookie Recipe Submitted as Evidence in Blake Lively's Legal Dispute with Justin Baldoni

In a surprising twist to the ongoing legal war between actress Blake Lively and her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, a cookie recipe linked to pop superstar Taylor Swift has been filed as new evidence. According to reports from TMZ, Lively's legal representatives submitted the recipe, described as 'a Taylor Swift cookie recipe that was linked in other correspondence,' among a series of exhibits for the upcoming court case.

Legal Teams Clash Over Evidence and Witness Lists

In response to the new filings, Baldoni's legal team has formally requested extended time from the presiding judge to thoroughly review the exhibits. His representatives have stated that the cookie recipe is 'exceptionally unlikely' to be presented to the jury when the trial commences on May 18. Additionally, Lively included photographs of herself with Taylor Swift and a heartfelt speech about her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, in the legal documents.

Baldoni's attorneys have asked for a one-week extension to sort through Lively's 68 exhibits, which were filed on Friday morning. They are also pushing for her list of witnesses and evidence to be reasonably reduced. The Daily Mail has contacted Taylor Swift's representatives for comment but has not received a response at this time.

Background of the Legal Battle and Witness Testimonies

The legal confrontation stems from a lawsuit filed by Lively in December 2024, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment, retaliatory conduct, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. This dispute has reportedly strained Lively's long-standing friendship with Taylor Swift, especially after Baldoni's team subpoenaed Lively for text messages, emails, and other communications between her and the singer.

In one text exchange, Lively allegedly referred to herself as the Game of Thrones character Khaleesi and to Swift as one of her 'dragons.' Baldoni's filings also claim that Swift was present at a meeting at Lively's New York penthouse to discuss script changes, though sources close to Swift insist she had no prior knowledge and felt 'exploited' upon arrival.

Lively recently faced a setback when a judge dismissed 10 of her 13 claims against Baldoni earlier this month. She has now added Ryan Reynolds to her witness list, with the actor expected to testify about production and promotion issues, as well as alleged retaliation and damages. Both Lively and Baldoni are slated to testify, and both parties rejected settlement attempts earlier this week.

Additional Witnesses and Legal Arguments

Other individuals on Lively's witness list include her sister Robyn Lively, co-stars Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer, and several of Baldoni's associates, such as former podcast co-host Liz Plank, former publicist Stephanie Jones, and PR manager Melissa Nathan. Colleen Hoover, author of the book on which the film is based, has also been named as a potential witness, with her testimony likely to be presented via deposition.

Baldoni's legal team is contesting some of these witnesses, arguing that Hoover's testimony should be excluded since she was never on the movie set, and that Slate's complaints should be barred as they were resolved at the time. As the May 18 trial date approaches, both sides are preparing for a high-stakes legal showdown that continues to captivate public attention.
