Monster Eviction Night Shakes I'm A Celebrity Australia Camp
Wednesday night delivered a dramatic and emotional eviction episode on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! Australia, with three celebrities being sent home after a series of intense challenges. The evening began with a head-to-head competition between Cyrell Paule from Married At First Sight and Rebekah Elmaloglou, the Home and Away actress.
First Round Elimination and Emotional Farewells
Rebekah emerged victorious in the initial challenge, leading to Cyrell's tearful departure from the jungle camp. In an emotional moment, Cyrell thanked Rebekah for their friendship during their time together, highlighting the bonds formed despite the competitive environment. This was not the end for Rebekah, however, as she immediately faced another round of challenges against fellow contestants Gary Sweet and Nath Valvo.
Gary expressed concerns before the second challenge, fearing the odds were against him because it involved a puzzle—a task he admitted he was notoriously bad at. Despite his worries, the actor managed to outperform his younger co-stars, securing his place in the competition. As a result, Rebekah and Nath were eliminated, leaving Gary among the top six remaining celebrities.
Recent Exits and Celebrity Reflections
The evictions this week have seen celebrities dropping rapidly from the show. On Monday's episode, George Calombaris was sent home after losing a challenge against Concetta Caristo and Nath Valvo. Concetta wept as she farewelled George, telling him it should have been her instead, but he reassured her to continue and succeed in the competition.
George handled his exit with grace, stating he was proud of his time on the reality series. He shared a heartfelt message for his children, James and Makayla, aged 13 and 14, explaining that life is full of obstacles that must be overcome. 'Coming in here threw obstacles at me, literally,' he said, adding that he wanted to demonstrate the importance of kindness.
Earlier in the week, Mia Fevola was evicted on Sunday. She became emotional upon her exit, admitting that the show had forced her to confront some of her greatest fears, particularly being underwater due to a past jet ski accident. Mia told hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris that she couldn't imagine doing some of the challenges she faced, and she looked forward to returning to normal life with 'girly things' like makeup and skincare.
The series continues to test celebrities with physical and mental challenges, leading to more evictions as the competition narrows down to the final contestants.
