Meghan Markle reveals Prince Harry's 'childlike wonder' that captivated her
Meghan shares Harry's secret that drew her in

The Duchess of Sussex has offered unprecedented insight into her marriage with Prince Harry during a revealing new magazine feature, sharing the key quality that initially attracted her to the Duke.

The quality that captured Meghan's heart

In her first magazine cover appearance since joining the Royal Family, Meghan Markle participated in an extensive photoshoot and interview with Harper's Bazaar, opting for a natural, bare-faced look for the glossy images.

The former actress disclosed that she was immediately drawn to Harry's "childlike wonder and playfulness" when they first met. "He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn't," Meghan revealed in the candid discussion.

She elaborated on this defining characteristic, explaining: "No one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he's always going to make sure that he has my back... you have someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness. I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me. That's translated into every part of our life."

Life in Montecito with Archie and Lilibet

The Duchess provided a rare glimpse into family life with their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, at their California home in Montecito. The couple relocated to the United States in 2020 after stepping back from their roles as senior royals.

Meghan described the joys of working from home while raising young children, sharing: "My office is right by the kitchen, and I love that I can work from home. It's a great luxury. (Lilibet) comes and sits on my lap when I'm in the middle of the meeting, whether it's about profit and loss for my brand or it's about something creative."

The interview coincided with the release of the trailer for the festive episode of her Netflix series With Love, Meghan, showcasing the family's continued media projects since their royal departure.

Reflections on mistakes and personal growth

Meghan didn't shy away from discussing the challenges she's faced since moving to America, openly acknowledging "mistakes" made in both her personal and professional life.

She revealed that her boundaries have strengthened since entering the public eye, stating: "You find different ways to protect yourself, whether that's self-preservation or it's just growing up."

The Duchess also spoke about applying lessons from motherhood to her business ventures, explaining: "I'm a mum with kids at that age where they are constantly learning something new. I watch them face things that feel completely insurmountable every day. But you can remember and say, 'I know it seems really hard right now, but trust me, that's going to come so easily soon.'"

She extended this philosophy to her role as founder of her lifestyle brand As Ever, adding: "I can give myself the same grace as a founder. There's no such thing as perfect. I, too, get to make mistakes."

While Meghan didn't specify the exact nature of these business errors, her willingness to discuss them openly marks a significant moment of vulnerability for the Duchess as she continues to navigate life outside the Royal Family.
