Stranger Things S5 Part 2 UK Release Time Revealed

The long wait for the penultimate instalment of Netflix's flagship sci-fi series is nearly over. Stranger Things Season 5, Part 2 is set to drop globally this week, bringing fans closer to the epic conclusion of the Hawkins saga.

UK Release Time and Schedule

For viewers in the United Kingdom, the release is perfectly timed for a festive binge-watch. The three new episodes of Stranger Things Season 5, Part 2 will become available on Netflix from 1am GMT on Boxing Day, Friday 26 December 2025.

This follows the release for subscribers in the United States, who will get access on Christmas Day, Thursday 25 December, at 5pm PST and 8pm EST. The global simultaneous launch means the time differs only due to time zones.

Episode Breakdown and Finale Date

This second batch of episodes will contain three instalments, running for just over three and a half hours in total. This is one episode fewer than the four released in Part 1 last month. The titles and release schedule for the remaining episodes are as follows:

  • Episode Five: 'Shock Jock' – 25 Dec (US) / 26 Dec (UK)
  • Episode Six: 'Escape from Camazotz' – 25 Dec (US) / 26 Dec (UK)
  • Episode Seven: 'The Bridge' – 25 Dec (US) / 26 Dec (UK)

Following this, there will be just one episode left to conclude the entire series. The final ever episode of Stranger Things, titled 'The Rightside Up', is scheduled for release on New Year's Eve. It will be available on Wednesday 31 December 2025 for UK audiences.

What to Expect After the Part 1 Cliffhanger

Part 1 of the final season ended on a dramatic post-apocalyptic cliffhanger, with the terrifying Vecna having torn Hawkins apart. After he slaughtered military personnel and his Demogorgons cornered Lucas Sinclair, Robin Buckley, and Mike Wheeler, a shocking twist unfolded.

Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp, finally tapped into latent psychic powers, controlling the vicious creatures and saving his friends. The episode closed with a signature shot of Will wiping a bloody nose, mirroring Eleven's (Millie Bobby Brown) classic trait and teasing a major role for his newly discovered abilities in the battles to come.

With Vecna having pulled the children into the Upside Down, the stakes for Part 2 and the series finale have never been higher. Fans are now counting down the hours until they can discover the fate of Hawkins and its beloved characters.
