Charity Dingle Takes on Dr Todd – Police Arrest Mack

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) has taken on Dr Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) in Emmerdale, but the police have arrested Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) instead. Despite Charity's efforts to report the attack and blackmail, Dr Todd was released after initial questioning. Charity later returned to the police to report the blackmail, hoping it would be enough to bring Todd down, but DS Reid (Angela Lonsdale) told her the two allegations would be treated separately.

Mackenzie Boyd Learns the Truth

Mackenzie Boyd is now aware of most of what happened and initially manages to support his wife, but at the Christening, he crumbles under self-loathing. He picks a fight with Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill), but Kev, now a baker, doesn't bite. Instead, he gets Mack to explain himself, and Mack blurts out that Charity cheated on him. Kev suggests revenge on Todd, and Mack tracks her down at a new hospital.

Todd gloats and tries to twist the narrative, claiming Charity is untrustworthy. But Mack backs Charity and seethes that Todd will be imprisoned soon. Todd remains unruffled, even when Mack threatens to kill her.
