Coronation Street Fans Predict Baby Twist for Sarah Platt After Mystery
Coronation Street fans predict baby twist for Sarah Platt

Coronation Street fans are predicting a new baby twist for Sarah Platt, after her secretive behaviour sparked speculation. The character has been acting strangely ever since her attack a few weeks ago, which occurred on the night Theo Silverton was killed. Both Sarah and her ex Gary Windass appear to be in cahoots, and while nothing is confirmed, they seem protective of one another.

Sarah's concerning behaviour

In a recent episode, Sarah got very drunk and was clearly struggling, which has been attributed to her spiralling after the attack. However, Sarah is yet to discover that the attack was carried out by Jodie Ramsey. While it is plausible that Sarah is acting out of character due to the trauma of being knocked out and left for dead, some fans believe something happened prior to the assault.

Fans suspect a fling

Viewers are convinced that Sarah and Gary are both keeping a secret linked to that same night. Many now think they had a fling, and Sarah could be pregnant. Others believe a baby twist is on the way with Sarah's partner Kit Green being the father, with the Gary connection being a red herring.

  • One fan said on social media: "Is she pregnant?"
  • Another commented: "I wonder if Gary got Sarah knocked up."
  • A third wrote: "She's pregnant."
  • A further post simply said: "Pregnancy?"
  • Another fan added: "Up the duff."
  • A final post read: "Sarah probably pregnant to Kit."

Alternative theories

Other theories suggest Sarah might be set for a head injury storyline or a mental health plot. One fan said: "Could be a delayed effect from the head trauma." Another agreed: "Something to do with the blow she to her head?" A third fan noted: "Sarah has been acting really strange ever since she got hit in the head by Jodie." Another added: "She's lashing out so she might be suffering with PTSD or got some sort of head condition which nobody knows about." A final theory suggested: "A blood clot." On the PTSD suggestion, other fans wondered if we would see a mental health storyline with Sarah.

Coronation Street airs weeknights at 8:30pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
