Dutton Ranch Season 2 Confirmed by Paramount+
Paramount+ has officially renewed Dutton Ranch for a second season, just as the debut season concluded its broadcast run. The Yellowstone spin-off became the platform's most successful original series launch in its history, according to a statement from Matt Thunell, President of Paramount Television Studios. He said: "Dutton Ranch has resonated with audiences in a powerful way, building on the legacy of beloved characters, while establishing its own identity. Thank you to our partners at Paramount+ and 101 Studios for a phenomenal first season. We look forward to bringing fans more stories from these unforgettable characters in Season 2."
When Will Season 2 Air?
No official air date has been announced for Dutton Ranch Season 2. The timeline depends on when filming begins, especially as the show needs to find a new showrunner following the exit of creator Chad Feehan shortly before the premiere.
Cast Returning for Season 2
Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton) and Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) are expected to reprise their lead roles. Other anticipated returning cast members include Finn Little as Carter Green, Ed Harris as Everett McKinney, and Annette Bening as Beulah Jackson. Supporting cast likely to return includes Juan Pablo Raba, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind. Jai Courtney will not return after his character Rob-Will Jackson was shot dead in Season 1.
Plot Predictions for Season 2
Season 2 will pick up from the dramatic finale, which saw Beth and Rip trying to rescue their kidnapped son Carter. Carter was seized by Mariano, who warned that war was coming. Meanwhile, Beulah may seek revenge for Rob-Will's death. The series will explore how the characters deal with these escalating tensions.
